Pepperjack’s Race and a Half challenge…Gasparilla 2023
Here we are… back again to the one race that started it all the Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic After a live expo yet virtual run in 2021 and my attempt at the Half in 2022 I’m back in person for the Stella Solstice Challenge We arrived at the expo a bit after 3 and spent some time weaving around grabbing goodies from the venders as well as my bib, shirts, & challenge jacket. Though the Highlight for me was FINALLY getting to see Pepperjack I took a few more pics such as the obligatory name and soon it was time for me to check into my hotel and rest up My ootd was my race shirt, my purple mystique running skort and one of my new Bondi bands… also new we’re my sneakers which I’d only ran about 3.5 miles leading up to the weekend. I was dropping off at around 5:47 and arrived at the convention center at around 5:54.
