Running is Uncanceled: Part 1

  So when I had made my maintenance plans for what I was going to do between Bud Light Orange and Wine and Dine training I was thinking lots of shorter runs to work on speed training and maybe some serious cross training to help with my endurance… what I didn’t plan for was that two weeks after Promise Run life as we knew it would come to a standstill due to the COVID 19 Pandemic… Well---like a wise if not memory challenged blue tang fish said “Just Keep Swimming” or well running (or Walk/Jogging in my case) as one of the FIRST things I looked at was if running outdoors was safe with gyms being closed as I work an essential job that was made a million times more stressful and running clears my head. Outdoor activities like running had actually been strongly encouraged as long as they were being done solo or if you were with a buddy with the proper social distance measures in place and so I took off….
