My Magical Miles

  If I had a nickel for everytime I ran a night race and it got cut due to weather issues I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s funny it happened twice… and that the only other night race I ever did was rescheduled due to  hurricane damaged and moved to a later date in which daylight savings wasn’t accounted for but that’s a whole other story… Anyway, my initial outfit pull was to be my starlake princess crowned and purple livi bottom however with the wet unpredictable weather I opted instead for my Springtime Surprise 10K shirt and black livi bottom I kept checking for updates and with the 4:30 PM “We are still good to go” email the most recent I headed to the start and arrived around 6:39… as I checked the weather it went from 40-50% thunderstorms to 40-50% rainy conditions so I took it as an okay sign as I lined up in the shoot.
